Cherie Elizabeth Cookorinis has more than twenty years of expertise as an attorney practicing exclusively in the field of immigration law. Her practice areas include employment based visas and permanent residency, naturalization, preservation of residency, consular visa assistance, and family immigration, including waivers of inadmissibility. Her approach is to evaluate cases thoroughly and honestly to give clients as many options as possible, using an “out of the box” approach. As the founder of the firm, Cherie is dedicated to the concept of providing customized immigration solutions for you, your employees, your business, and your family, and prides herself on producing results-oriented, professional work to achieve clients’ U.S. immigration goals: employment, study, permanent residency, citizenship, or merely visiting and enjoying the United States. Because of her background as a first generation U.S. born child of immigrants, Cherie fully understands how important the decision to immigrate to the USA is and what impact it has on is on a person’s family and career. Cherie received her BA (Russian, Spanish) from Emory University and her Juris Doctor from Georgia State University (cum laude), both in Atlanta. Her professional career has included working in non-profit, small firm and large firm settings prior to founding her own firm. She is fluent in Spanish, Greek, and English and also conversant in French and Portuguese.
